Terms of Service
Last updated: October 14, 2026
These terms cover the OpenCrew Mac app and opencrew.run. Downloading or using either means you accept them.
The app
OpenCrew is a free Mac app that runs a crew of AI agents on a folder on your computer. You give it goals; agents plan, change and test code; nothing is committed until you approve it. The agents run on your own Claude Code or Codex login, so your use of those tools stays subject to your agreement with Anthropic or OpenAI, including their usage limits and fees. The agents act on your instructions, and you are responsible for what you ask them to do and for reviewing what they produce before you rely on it.
Your content
Your code, and what your crew produces from it, is yours. It stays on your Mac and goes to model providers only through your own login, as described in the privacy policy. We do not receive it.
Acceptable use
Do not use OpenCrew to break the law, infringe on others’ rights, send unsolicited messages, distribute malware or attack other systems. Agents can run commands and reach the internet from your Mac; you are responsible for what they do there.
No warranty
OpenCrew is provided as-is, without warranties of any kind. AI agents make mistakes: review their work, keep approvals on anything that matters, and keep your own copies of anything you cannot afford to lose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for damages arising from use of OpenCrew, including actions taken by agents on your instructions and the loss of data on your computer.
Changes
We may update these terms as OpenCrew evolves; the date above reflects the latest revision. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
